The Afterlife Paranormal Conference & Film Festival was introduced in 2010 by Willy Adkins (Spook Show Entertainment / The Illinois Ghost Hunters) as a bi-annual paranormal conference with the interest of bringing together not just ghost hunters, but cryptozoologists, UFO enthusiasts and more!  The first event took place at The Haunted Stratfrod Inn Hotel in Sycamore IL.

In 2011 Willy Adkins was a special guest at Ursula Bielski’s Chicago Ghost Conference.  Prior to that conference Willy & Ursula had a conversation about possibly merging the two area conferences.  Those talk’s turned into the agreement to keep both conferences bi-annual at the same venue (The Historic Portage Theater in Chicago) on the same weekend annually.  This will permit more time for assembling each of the two conferences while at the same time keeping an annual conference happening in Chicago.

So, now going into the 2012 Season, The Afterlife Paranormal Conference makes its Chicago debut at The Portage Theater (4050 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago IL) on October 5th & 6th!!
